Hurricane Season Began in Miami on June 1
Miami's hurricane season began on June 1 and it will continue through the end of November. Since 1900 twenty-one major hurricanes have hit the Florida Peninsula, but most of them occurred during the first half of the 1900's. The weather in Miami is typically hot and humid during hurricane season but you can also get some fantastic hotel rates during that period.

    Michael Jackson's "Thriller" Video Cemetery
    The Coconut Grove Cemetery in Miami's Bahamian District is an important historic site and the location where Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video was filmed. This cemetery is different then most because the bodies are all above ground and the graves are only inches away from each other.
