Everglades National Park
More then 2000 acres of the Florida Everglades
were established as a state park in 1947.
Everglades National Park is the largest
subtropical wilderness in the United States.

outside the park.
Biscayne National Park
The closest national park to Miami is located
on Biscayne Bay and it features mangrove
forests and the world's third largest
living underwater coral reef. Activities in

boating, fishing, camping, wildlife viewing,
and family picnics. This is the largest
marine park in the United States national
park system.
