An introduction to the Brickell District of the city of Miami Florida.

The Brickell District is the southern part of Brickell Avenue Skyline is full of condominium, hotel, and office building towers Lots of shops, restaurants, and cafes Population: more then 6000 Average resident income: 120,000

The Brickell District (usually just called "Brickell") is divided into 2 sections;

Upper Brickell
  • north of Southeast 15th street (broadway)
  • includes the financial district
  • is part of downtown miami
  • Has office buildings and residential buildings

    Lower Brickell
  • between broadway and southeast 26th road
  • Mostly residential
  • Includes the "Millionaire's Row section of Brockell Avenue)

    Financial District is the area of downtopwn Miami along Brockell Avenue (US 1) and Brickell Bay Drive from south of the Miami River to Broadway. Referred to as the Manhattan of Miami". Has the largest concentration of International banks in the United States.
