Miami-Dade County Trash Collection
Provider of trash collection and curbside recycling services to
the cities of Aventura, Cutler Bay, Doral, Miami
Gardens, Miami Lakes, Palmetto Bay, Pinecrest,
Sunny Isles Beach, Sweetwater, and the unincorporated
areas of Miami-Dade County.
City of Miami Trash Collection
The City of Miami provides trash collection and curbside recycling
services to approximately 70,000 private homes within the Miami city limits.
Note that apartment and condominium buildings in the city of Miami
with more then four units proabably contract for their own trash service
and may use a different provider.
City of Miami Beach Sanitation Department
The City of Miami Beach contracts with a private company
for residential trash collection services. As of January 2005
their residential trash pickup service was provided by a
private trash disposal company called "Waste Management
of Dade County". That company should not be confused with
Miami-Dade County's trash collection service. See the

about signing up for trash collection services.
Garbage Man
Private company offering one-time trash removal
services for Miami area businesses and residences. They
will either load a trash truck with your garbage themselves
or they will leave a container for you to fill yourself.
