Skateparks in Miami

Information about skateparks in the greater Miami area for skateboarding, aggressive inline skating, and BMX stunt bike tricks.

Amelia Earhart Skatepark
Maimi Dade County built their first skatepark at Amelia Earhart Park and it was dedicated on November 10, 2001. It had a 20,000 square foot aggressive street course with ramps and grinding rails. Inline skaters and skateboarders were both welcome and the park also had a track for skating practice, speed skating, and slalom cone skating. Unfortunately the skatepark at Amelia Earhart County Park was destroyed by a hurricane. At one time Miami Dade County was planning to build five new skateparks in addition to the one at Amelia Earhart Park. MIA Skatepark
