When The Miami Herald Newslaper was founded in 1903 it was known as the "Miami Evening Record". It was renamed "The Miami Herald" in 1910. The newspaper has published a Spanish language version since 1977 that was first called "El Herald" and later "El Neuvo Herald". The Miami Herald moved into the building below in March of 1963.
