Art Deco District Walking Tours
The Maimi Design Preservation League
offers two different ninety minute guided walking
tours that highlight the architecture of Miami's
buildings, including a tour of the Collins Park
area and a tour of the Lincoln Road area.
Historic Miami Tours With Dr. George
Doctor Paul George of the Historical Museum of
Southern Florida conducts hostoric tours of Miami
that feature walking, bus rides,and boat trips.
Fairchild Garden Walking Tours
June through August the Fairchild Tropical Botanical
Garden in Coral Gables offers guided, 45 minute walking tours
featuring the tropical flower garden,
native plants, the historic vine pergola, the
palmetum, and the Richard Simons Rainforest.
Their Sunday morning 1.5 hour butterfly tours are offered
November through August.
Coconut Grove Walking Tours
This company offers 3.5 hour historic walking
tours of Coconut Grove four days a week that
end with a tour of the historic home and grounds
at Barnacle State Park. The company also offers
a nightly "ghost hunting" tour of coconut Grove
